The season or the God? Which is which and who serves who?

Seasons Greetings,

You better watch out
You better not pout
You better not cry
Im telling you why

Jesus Christ is coming to town

He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake.

Now this might seem somewhat offensive, but I do it to make a point. It is the hymn of the modern church. It is the hymn of the church that doesn't believe theology and doctrine are important in the Christian life. The problem is that they do theology and hold doctrine, but they do not recognize it. It is impossible to read the Bible and not do theology. It is impossible to be a Christian and not practice certain truths. This new hymn reflects the theology of the modern church. You can tell this because they will behave one way outside of a church, but when they enter the building they think that they must act a certain way lest they make God mad. Is God a miser that sits in a building, and waits for people to enter that he might be pleased for an hour or two a week? The problem with this is that they have not read that the body has become the temple of God, and that in doing so God, when served by man is being served by His own creation, and by His own Grace.  The God who made the world and everything in it, being sLord of heaven and earth, tdoes not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, uas though he needed anything, since he himself vgives to all mankind wlife and breath and everything. (Acts 17:24-25)  There are other problems, but I blog at this moment to remind my readers, that if their God looks more like Santa (you get what you want if you are nice enough) then I challenge, no, I beg and plead with you to read the word of God, and seek Holiness. It is a lost thing in this current day, but those whom God has truly saved will be made Holy by Him. You cannot do this on your own. Pray that He will grant you repentance. As this season comes remember it is to celebrate the humiliation of the Son of God as He became a man, weak and human, in order that God would be justified as the justifier and that man might be made just through His grace. Seek Him that He may permit you a heart of Repentance, because unlike the modern god ( which looks like a man), our God cannot be reached by human effort, but only by His grace, because man will never reach for God if left to his own devices. If this sounds foreign to you please seek Him and read His word, The Holy Spirit will open the scriptures to you. Now may Christ keep you. Amen.
